ALL SHOOK UP at RIVERSIDE CENTER
Adolpho is currently Directing and Choreographing "All Shook Up" at the Riverside Center in
Fredericksburg, VA. The hit Broadway musical, featuring the hits of Elvis Presley, opens July 9th
and runs through September 11th! Check out the sizzle rehearsal reel below!
NYU THESIS PLAYWRITING PROJECT
Adolpho was honored to be a part of Emma Degrand's thesis project at New York University. The
story is one that tells the lesbian perspective of the Stonewall Riots and in a bit of non-traditional
casting, Adolpho played the female-to-male transgendered character of Lee. After a successful
initial reading, Adolpho was invited to reprise his role in the final workshop. Look for future
incarnations!
I DO! I DO! at WESTCHESTER BROADWAY
Adolpho again had the opportunity to work with Richard Sabellico, this time on "I Do! I Do!" at
Westchester Broadway. The story is a musical adaptation of de Hartog's "The Fourposter" and as
the Assistant Director/Choreographer, he had the fortune of working with the super talented Mark
Zimmerman and Lauri Landry.
DELILAH DIX: SHOWING MY BUSINESS at the LAURIE BEECHMAN
Delilah Dix is a boozing, fading cabaret floozy so brilliantly brought to life by the one and only Amy
Albert. In her Laurie Beechman Theatre "comeback", she employed the world's Biggest Theme
Park Superstars - KICKER AND TURNER - to provide the sparkle and dance pyrotechnics that
only added to insanity of the sold-out performances!

LEIBYA FAIR at PEOPLE'S IMPROV THEATRE
Mindy Raf starred as her infamous chick-rocking, vegan activist who's "nipples taste like tofu" -
Leibya Rogers - in her first foray into a one-woman show format. Adolpho helmed the show which
followed Leibya's attempt to bring her feminist music festival, Leibya Fair, to the quiet all-american
town of Uhrichsville, Ohio. The audience at the People's Improv Theatre laughed and cheered in
delight as Leibya worked her way into their hearts.
GYPSY at NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATRE
Adolpho was Assistant Director/Choreographer for "Gypsy" starring "Talk Radio"s Vicki Lewis at
the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Massachusetts. The inaugural production of the new
NSMT was a big hit and Adolpho got to work with Richard Sabellico who's experience with
"Gypsy" included the original Broadway cast of the 1974 revival as well as Assistant Director of
the 1989 Broadway revival. Check out the B-roll trailer below!
PUPPY LOVE: A STRIPPER'S TALE at P.S. 122
Oh, the crazy projects that Adolpho gets to work on! The one and only Erin Markey presented her
irreverent and ridiculously funny one woman show at the downtown performance epicenter,
Performance Space 122, which focuses on her being hired as a stripper, straight out of college, at the
Deja Vu Love Boutique in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Everything seems trashy, unfair and exciting until
she falls for a co-stripper named Sky - and that's where the real fun begins. Backed up by Cole
Escola (from "Jeffrey and Cole Casserole" on Logo) and Julia Sirna-Frest, Adolpho got to
choreograph conceptualized Vlasik Dill storks in 6 inch stripper heels; a true dream come true! The
show was such a hit that it was extended an extra 2 weeks and has now been nominated for a New
York Innovative Theatre Award! You haven't seen theatre until you've seen Erin Markey!
FOOTLOOSE at the MAC-HAYDN THETARE
Adolpho returned to the Mac-Haydn Theatre in Chatham, NY to choreograph one of the most
beloved of all 80s movies - also a musical - "Footloose". Audiences definitely went to "cut loose"
along with Ren, Ariel and the gang as they overthrew the Reverend and his rules of no dancing in
Bomont, Texas.
BEN LERMAN SOLO SHOW at ARS NOVA
The outrageous Ben Lerman debuted his new show for Ars Nova's Tragedy Tomorrow series.
Adolpho choreographed the finale that was so over the top and silly, it fit right in with Ben's signature
song parodies, tongue in cheek multimedia and ukulele wizardry!
THE BATTERY'S DOWN
Adolpho got invited to dance in an episode of the cult YouTube series about a young guy's journey to
Broadway as a struggling music theatre actor in New York City. Adolpho is dancing alongside New
York's finest in a production number at Sardi's featuring Jennifer Laura Thompson entitled "If
These Walls Could Talk". Watch it HERE:
OKAY! at HERE ARTS CENTER
Becky Yamamoto was back for a third dose of her autobiographical comedy, "Okay", this time at
the HERE Arts Center in SoHo. Adolpho choreographed this examination of Becky's love for the
movie musical "Oklahoma!" and the father she never met and what a hit it was! Adolpho
previously choreographed this piece when it played Ars Nova back in 2007 and hears that perhaps
it may get picked up for a long run by an off-Broadway Theatre group! Details to follow!!!
